At Marriage Ministries Int’l, a new and innovative era for MMI has begun with the inauguration of the University of the Family. This collaborative effort is bringing different marriage and family ministries together to meet the needs directly impacting homes across the globe.
Through the years we have observed that family issues all seem to either center around or relate to the relationship of the husband and wife. We began to realize that ministering just to the particular issue without dealing with the underlying cause or relating problem in the marriage, often provides only a temporary fix.
Our goal is to become a rich source of marriage and family ministry from which all in the community can receive. As well as a physical campus housing multiple ministries and classrooms, the University of the Family will deliver key family principles through its worldwide delivery “pipeline” - its network of trained and experienced leaders.
At the same time we recognized that our experience in MMI has been mainly with marriages. There are many other anointed ministries that deal with other family issues such as parenting, finances, addiction, but few we could find that address these issues from a one-flesh point of view.
